About
About the Photographer
I have a passion for many things in this life, from family to the outdoors, and love exploring the world with my camera slung around my neck.
I am lucky to live in beautiful Portland, Oregon. close to the mountains, water and lush wilderness. I live with my husband, cat and cockatiels that constantly keep me entertained and force me to
keep a good sense of humor.
My earliest experiences with photography began with my 110-point and shoot at six-years-old. Later, I graduated from the University of Montana with a much more sophisticated camera and a bachelor’s degree in photojournalism and have since worked with several newspapers, magazines and niche publications. My work has received awards from National Press Photographer’s Association and Society of Professional Journalists.
I enjoy capturing the real moments of life through my lens and celebrating the many challenges that life often presents.
“You give but little when you give your possessions. It is when you give of yourself that you truly give.”
